Add a watermark without rebuilding your document

OneFileKit adds your watermark as text or image content on top of the existing PDF pages. The original page content is kept as it is — pages are not flattened into pictures.

A watermark is a visible mark, not a security feature. Someone with PDF editing software may be able to remove or cover it, so do not rely on a watermark alone to protect sensitive documents.

Very large images, unusual fonts or PDFs with unusual structure can behave differently in different PDF viewers. Always check the downloaded file before sharing it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add both a text and an image watermark?
Yes. Use the Multiple option to add several watermark objects, then select, move, reorder or delete each one before exporting.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Choose all pages, the current page, pages you select in the thumbnail list, or enter a page range such as 1-3, 5, 8-10.
Can a watermark be removed later?
A watermark is a visible mark added to the page. With PDF editing software it may be possible to remove or cover it, so it should not be your only protection.
Can I watermark a password-protected PDF?
If you enter the correct password we can open the file and create a watermarked copy. The password is used only for that session and is not stored.
