Permanent redaction — not a black box overlay

OneFileKit uses PyMuPDF redaction APIs to remove content under marked regions and burn a solid fill. This is different from drawing a black rectangle on top of text.

After export we search the result for redacted keywords where applicable. If residual extractable text remains, the job fails and the original upload is left unchanged.

We do not claim absolute security against every PDF structure or forensic technique. Unusual encryption, exotic encodings, or complex forms may require another processing method.

Security & privacy
