Crop PDF pages without converting them to images

OneFileKit crops at the PDF page-box level (CropBox and MediaBox) using pdf-lib. Original text, vectors and images stay searchable and sharp where the source PDF already supports them.

The on-screen crop rectangle uses the same PDF-space coordinates as export, so zooming the viewer does not change what gets cropped. When you apply one crop to pages of different sizes, each page is scaled and validated individually.

Remove Margins uses best-effort content detection when available. It is not perfect whitespace detection — always review and adjust the rectangle before exporting.

Security & privacy

  • Uploads are validated by extension, MIME type and PDF structure.
  • Password-protected PDFs are rejected with a clear message when they cannot be modified safely.
  • Page ranges and crop bounds are validated against the real server-side page count and dimensions.
  • Downloads require a secret token bound to your job.
  • Temporary files expire after a configurable retention period.
  • We do not store document contents in analytics.
