How to Convert MP4 to MP3?
- 1

- 3
Preview the audio
Listen to a short extracted sample before converting the full video.
- 4
Download
Save individual MP3s or Download All as a ZIP of successful outputs.
Real audio extraction — not a renamed file
OneFileKit extracts and encodes audio on the server with FFmpeg. Metadata comes from ffprobe and download sizes are measured from actual output bytes — never estimated.
MP3 bitrate controls audio quality and file size, but it does not guarantee a fixed amount of size reduction versus the original video; a short, audio-only MP3 is simply much smaller than a video file in most cases.
Videos without an audio track cannot be converted. Unsupported codecs or containers are rejected with a clear, customer-safe message.
Frequently asked questions
- Which video formats can I convert to MP3?
- Upload MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, M4V, MPEG, WMV, FLV, 3GP and similar formats when this server’s FFmpeg build can decode them. We validate the real container and streams with ffprobe — renaming a non-video file will not work.
- What if my video has no audio track?
- We detect this before converting and let you know — there is nothing to extract if the source video has no audio stream.
- Which MP3 quality should I choose?
- 320 kbps gives the best quality at a larger file size; 128 kbps gives the smallest file at lower quality. 192 kbps is a good balance for most videos.
- Can I convert multiple videos at once?
- Yes. Upload a batch, convert together, then download individual MP3s or all of them as a ZIP of successful outputs.
