Real compression — not a fake size badge

OneFileKit compresses images on the server with Sharp/libvips. The comparison preview and final downloads use actual encoded output, not hardcoded reduction percentages.

Choose JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, set quality, optionally resize, and strip EXIF when you want. Transparent images stay transparent when the output format supports alpha.

If your settings make a file larger, we tell you honestly — and can keep the original instead when that option is enabled.

Frequently asked questions

Which image formats can I compress?
JPG/JPEG, PNG, WebP and AVIF are fully supported. GIF is accepted when the file is a valid GIF.
What does the compression level mean?
Lower values favor smaller files. Higher values favor higher quality. The preview and final sizes come from real encoding, not estimates alone.
Will JPG keep PNG transparency?
No. JPG does not support transparency. We warn you before converting transparent images to JPG and replace transparency with a white background.
Can I compress multiple images at once?
Yes. Upload a batch, compress them together, then download individually or as a ZIP.
