Real resizing — real dimensions and file sizes

OneFileKit resizes images on the server with Sharp/libvips. Preview and download sizes come from actual encoded output, not hardcoded sample numbers.

Keep aspect ratio when you want proportional scaling, or unlock width and height for intentional distortion. Canvas mode places the image on a target size with contain, cover or fill.

Transparent images keep alpha in PNG/WebP/GIF. JPG flattens onto a background and we warn you before converting.

Frequently asked questions

What resize modes are available?
By percentage (scale relative to the original), by dimensions (exact width/height with optional aspect lock), and by canvas (place the image on a target size with contain, cover or fill).
How does Keep aspect ratio work?
When enabled, changing width recalculates height from the original proportions (and vice versa). Disable it only when you intentionally want to stretch the image.
Will my file always get smaller?
Not necessarily. Upscaling or switching formats can increase size. We show the real output size after processing.
Can I resize multiple images at once?
Yes. Upload a batch, resize them together, then download individually or as a ZIP of successful outputs.
